There is a saying in Italy that goes “Vedi Napoli e poi muori” which translates to “See Naples and die!” Well, Realindulgence.com proclaims that with a glass of ‘Hibiscus Champagne’ – “You will live another life!”

‘Hibiscus Champagne’ is a remarkable concept presented by Realindulgence.com. The idea is simple; you lay a Hibiscus Flower bud into a champagne flute and pour any champagne you desire. Notice as you topple the flower, the millions of effervescent bubbles will assist the tantalizing flower to slowly bloom. Now, should you wish to sweeten this beverage and create a voluptuous cocktail you may add a drizzle of the potion like crimson syrup which will create a graduation in colour from a dark rich crimson to a lavish pink. There you have it – a concoction with kudos! Not only are the Wild Hibiscus Flowers an eye candy, but you actually get two bites of the cherry (or rather two bites of the flower) since these Wild Hibiscus Flowers are also edible. So once you’ve drained your drink – you simply eat the flower. The taste of the flower is a blend of sumptuously fruity sweet flavour from cherries to raspberries which conjures up childhood memories. As well as being full of flavour, Hibiscus flowers confer the same added health benefits as tea and red wine. This has got to be the Rolls Royce of champagne cocktails – very much different from your standard Kir Royal and Bellini. Now, there is no saying that the possibilities of this creation stops here. As the world-renowned Dorchester Bar demonstrates, adding a dash of rose vodka and a touch of mint separates them from the crowd.

The Wild Hibiscus Flowers in Syrup is a product of Australia and has taken the world by storm. The Wild Hibiscus Flowers first came about when inventor Lee Etherington was using the flowers as a garnish for a desert at a garden party, when one of the blooms accidentally fell into a glass of champagne. Everyone was astounded when a guest began to mimic what was seen as an accessory to their champagne. It was at that moment that Wild Hibiscus Flowers in Syrup were created. Each flower is handpicked and undergoes an impressive 18-step process before it reaches its customers.

This edible flower will undoubtedly transform any glass of champagne to a pinnacle of luxury. It is already a hit amongst wedding celebrants and event organisers. Meera Shah, director of Realindulgence.com says, “Gone are the days where people would only pop a bottle of champagne on a milestone birthday or that romantic Valentine’s Day dinner. We are now of a time where our refrigerators have a designated compartment for Champagne. Our Wild Hibiscus Flowers are always the talking point of any occasion. What we have here is that extra touch of opulence – that wow factor!”

According to The Independent, “sales of champagne all around the world are fizzing”. Global demand for champagne is increasing so fast that the French authorities are expanding the areas where it may be produced. Also, Champagne sales in Britain are higher than ever before. It is now only a matter of time before we see this creation of the Hibiscus Champagne cocktail on the cocktail list of our special hangout or at that next wedding reception we RSVP for.

The Wild Hibiscus Flowers in Syrup are available online through http://www.realindulgence.com and delivery is available nationwide. An 11 flower jar is £6.49 and a party size jar containing 50 flowers is £22.50. The unopened jars have a 2 year shelf-life from date of manufacture and can be refrigerated for up to 4 months once opened. For further information call 0845 051 0355.

Shiraz is grown in France, but it is also become the most popular wine making grape in Australia. In France, the Shiraz grape is also known as Syrah. The Shiraz grape has also become a famous grape for wine makers in the US, especially California.

Shiraz wine has a white pepper and boysenberry flavor. It is a full bodied, red-table wine. Some of the Shiraz wines have a hint of violet, while others boast a slight coffee flavor.

Shiraz Wine History

The city of Shiraz is said to be the birthplace of wine making. It is said that the Shiraz grape gets its name from the city of Shiraz, which is located in Iran. Many people think that wine making began in Shiraz more than 6000 year ago.

There are many places where Shiraz wine is called Syrah outside of France. As a matter of fact, American wine laws allow either Syrah or Shiraz to appear on the bottle, even though many American wine companies label the wine as Shiraz.

Pairings for Shiraz Wine

Shiraz wine is best paired with meat. It makes an excellent accompaniment to dishes such as Beef Bourguignon on, BBQ ribs, and burgers. The wine also does well with any beef, pork venison, and duck.

There are many of these types of books on the market. You can purchase a wine pairing book at your local bookstore. Alternatively, you can also find them at the library. A wine pairing book can be a valuable resource and a great addition to any library.

Purchasing Shiraz Wine

You can purchase Shiraz wine at most local wine shops. If you cannot find what you are looking for at a local wine shop then you may want to try to find the wine on the internet. Many websites carry a wide verity of Shiraz Wine.

During the weekend or holidays, if you are the adventurous type, perhaps you want to consider taking a road trip to your nearest vineyard. It can be a very fun experience whether you are alone or with your loved one.

While you are there at the vineyard, you may want to test out different types of Shiraz to see which is most pleasing to your pallet.

Make sure you visit the vineyard on a tasting day. This is a good way to taste a lot of different types of wine in one place. The people who work at the vineyard will be happy to help you find the perfect bottle of wine for you.

Anne Durrel comes from California. She has, combined, over 3 years of experience in Wine. You may want to check out her other guide on reidel wine glasses tips and Personalized Wine Glasses guide.

More often than not, drinking wine always gives a negative impression to some people. They think that wine can only make a fool out of the person who drinks it; that wine is just for merrymaking, getting drunk and forgetting life’s worries for a while until the strength and effect of alcohol expires. However, if only people take all things in moderation including the use of alcohol, we can’t be experiencing the negative effects of alcohol in the body. In fact, you would be surprised to know that wine, especially red wine, can actually do something good for the body.

Oftentimes, people living in places where there is cold climate always have wines stored at their homes. Drinking wine can help them feel warm and can usually send them off to a good sleep. If you are one of those people who really fancy drinking wine, you might as well choose to drink red wine instead of any other wine.

If you want to try the kind of wine that is proven to be very relaxing and calming, you can have that experience from drinking red wine. As general information, there are health benefits you can derive from drinking red wine that may not be found in other types of wine. According to studies, red wine, with its amazing combined polyphenols component, can let you have a healthy heart as this said component can greatly push away the harmful fats in your body. Aside from that, there is also a claim that red wine may also help reduce or prevent the risks of getting a stroke, a heart attack or a breast cancer.

Drinking in moderation is always the best defense against the ill effects of alcohol. This is why even if drinking red wine gives off a lot of health benefits, you still need to drink moderately just the same.

Anything beyond what is called moderate drinking may lead to alcoholism and can also be a threat to one’s health later on. So, if you would like to enjoy the goodness of wine, you should give red wine a try.

We scoured every corner of the internet to find everything you ever wanted to know about Red Wine. Here is the absolute best source we uncovered, www.realpeoplewine.com Wine Club.

I could just tell you that for champagne to be at its best you serve it chilled to a perfection of 450F, but that’s just not giving it the due consideration it deserves. Yes it does need to be a chilled to a cool 450F, but the truth of the matter is that it doesn’t need to be an exact science. If you just leave it in the fridge for about three hours to chill you should achieve the right temperature.

And after that you can keep it chilling on ice in a champagne bucket so that when you need to top up your glass you don’t need to trot over to the fridge all the time, and neither will it be warm from being kept outside. Letting a champagne warm is probably the very worst thing that you could do it and to your palate, as champagne doesn’t taste all that great when it’s warmed up.

After you’ve opened a bottle of the bubbly, you might have excess champagne and want to store it for a few more days. This can easily be accomplished by using a proper champagne stopper. The stopper will hold the oxidation process at bay for a little while longer until you can get to it again.

Now, since we’re on the topic of how best to serve the champagne, you might also be interested to know that you can get the cork off the champagne bottle without popping and a lot of gushing going on. It just takes a little bit of practice, but it can be done.

First of all, carefully remove the foil covering and the wire hood. Then, holding the bottle at an angle of 45 degrees, hold the cork in one hand while turning the bottle. The cork should virtually sigh open with a slight mist flowing from it, and there should be no popping or gushing going on.

After that you should pour the champagne, ideally into champagne flutes, but do it slowly. This will avoid the champagne from frothing too much. Allow the champagne to settle in the flutes before topping up the glass.

On a side note, the reason for using the champagne flutes is so that the champagne bubbles can gather together and rise to the top, giving off a more concentrated aroma to enjoy.

Traditionally, Champagne has always a way to celebrate milestones or toast the bride and groom on their marriage. Considered to be a flexible beverage, Champagne can be served with a meal or with dessert. For many years, this truly refreshing and exotic drink has been used as a way of celebration and just enjoying the times that lie ahead.

Champagne comes from the vineyards of the French region. If you get a bottle and notice Champagne imprinted on the label, you can rest assured that the bottle was produced in the vineyards of France. If you don’t get Champagne that was produced in the infamous French regions, you are pretty much just buying the standard sparkling wine. You should also make sure that the bottle is spelled “Champagne”, with a capital C. French manufacturers are very protective of this very name, and therefore are the only ones that are authorized to use it.

Champagne is made using three different types of grape – Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay. Noir and Meunier are types of black grapes, while the well known Chardonnay is a type of white grape. The label on the bottle will signify what type of Champagne you are buying, so you’ll know what flavor to expect. There are also types of this wine that are a blend of different grapes, providing quite an exquisite taste to say the least.

Much like sparkling wine, Champagne is very common with celebrations and such. Although it is actually considered to be a type of sparkling wine, Champagne is much better. You have to be careful where you buy it though, as a lot of manufacturers like to use cheaper grapes, which don’t taste the same. If you have ever tasted this wine before – you’ll know first hand what quality tastes like.

A lot of people prefer Champagne because of the bubbles that are known to spew forth once a bottle has been uncorked. The bubbles that spew from this wine are the result of tiny drops of liquid that are disturbed by the carbonic acid gas. Once the liquid is disturbed, the bubbles form and short out of the bottle. This is a natural reaction of the double fermentation process that can only be found with a bottle of Champagne.

The next time you have a celebration and need something to make the celebration a bit more interesting, you should grab a bottle of Champagne. Few things compliment a celebration like the bursting bubbles of a fine bottle. You can find quality Champagne at ABC stores or other stores that sell alcoholic beverages. Even though it may cost you a bit of money – when you pop the top you’ll be glad you bought it.
